Title: SAP Enterprise Architect (S/4 Migration Expert)
Location: Newark, NJ(Hybrid 2-3 days in a week to onsite)
Duration: Full Time//Long term
We are seeking a seasoned SAP Enterprise Architect with significant experience in architecting SAP migrations, particularly from SAP ECC/BW/CRM to SAP S/4. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in guiding the design, architecture, and implementation of SAP S/4 migrations, ensuring successful transformation of enterprise systems, optimizing business processes, and ensuring alignment with strategic IT goals.
Responsibilities:
- SAP S/4HANA Migration Strategy:
- Lead the architecture and design of the SAP migration strategy from SAP ECC, SAP BW, and SAP CRM to SAP S/4.
- Develop and implement a roadmap that ensures efficient and effective migration while minimizing business disruption.
- Develop and execute SAP data migration strategy for migrating from SAP ECC, SAP BW, and SAP CRM to SAP S/4, including both active database data and archived data.
- Develop architecture and strategy for splitting SAP systems into two separate systems based on operating units.
- Develop user interface strategy with a focus on Fiori and traditional SAP GUI.
- Provide expert guidance on migration approaches (e.g., Greenfield, Brownfield, or Hybrid), considering the client's existing IT landscape, infrastructure, and business needs.
- Enterprise Architecture Leadership:
- Develop and maintain the overall SAP architecture framework and ensure its alignment with the organization's digital transformation goals.
- Design and optimize SAP solutions across multiple components (e.g., S/4HANA, Fiori, SAP BW, SAP Analytics Cloud) to deliver business value.
- Lead the integration of SAP S/4 with other enterprise systems and ensure architectural coherence across the IT ecosystem.
- Drive architecture decisions that optimize performance, scalability, and security for SAP applications.
- Define and design solutions for SAP S/4HANA, ensuring they align with business requirements and strategic goals.
- Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, HR) to ensure solution delivery that meets both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with business leaders, process owners, and IT teams to gather requirements, understand business needs, and ensure alignment of the SAP S/4 architecture with business objectives.
- Provide strategic advice on SAP technology trends, innovations, and best practices to internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in SAP architecture, including 5 years in SAP S/4HANA migrations (from SAP ECC/BW/CRM).
- In-depth understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, including key components like S/4HANA, Fiori, and related technologies (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BW/4HANA).
- Proven experience with SAP migration methodologies (Greenfield, Brownfield, or Hybrid) and strategies for transitioning from legacy SAP systems to S/4HANA.
- Strong understanding of integration frameworks and data migration techniques (e.g., SAP Data Services, SAP LT, third-party tools).
- Experience in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to interact with senior executives, IT teams, and business stakeholders.
