Title: Senior Maximo Business Analyst
Location: Jackson, MS or Houston, TX one week a month
Duration: Full Time/Long Term
ComTec seeking a detail-oriented IT Business Analyst with experience working on the IBM Maximo Scheduler, Maximo Mobile, or Field Services Management applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements, ensuring effective implementation, upgrade, and optimization of Maximo solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business processes and requirements related to the implementation of Maximo Scheduler, Maximo Mobile, or Field Services Management applications.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Document and analyse existing business processes, identifying areas for optimization and alignment with Maximo capabilities.
- Understand customer business processes and requirements to meet their needs.
- Provide oversight and support during Maximo upgrade projects, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Develop functional specifications, user stories, and use cases for Maximo Field Service implementations.
- Provide functional expertise in Maximo Field Service Management (FSM) to optimize service operations.
- Develop and execute test cases to validate system functionality, integrations, and business processes.
- Analyze existing workflows and processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend optimizations or enhancements within Maximo.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience working as Business Analyst in an enterprise-level IT environment.
- 3 years working with IBM Maximo Scheduler, Mobile, and/or Field Service Management applications.
- Strong understanding of asset management, field service operations, and mobile workforce management.
- 5 years' experience with elicitation and documentation of business and functional requirements.
- Ability to understand client requirements, recommend solutions, and effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of and experience in IT project management methodologies, requirements management, quality assurance and IT processes.
- Experience developing AS-IS and TO-BE business process flows.
- Must have strong customer service skills.
- Must have in-depth knowledge of business re-engineering principles and processes, the ability to identify, capture, and translate business requirements.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the preparation, selection, organization, and presentation of information in a concise and coherent manner.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Able to clearly communicate with leadership and colleagues about technical capabilities, limitations, issues, and recommendations.
- Highly organized, detail oriented, independent, and resourceful.
- Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
