Title: Senior Project Manager Cybersecurity
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: Full Time/Long Term
ComTec is looking for a Project Manager with extensive experience managing Cybersecurity and Cloud projects and to lead the implementation of a comprehensive OT security solution. The ideal candidate should be detail oriented, highly collaborative person, working closely with IT and Business stakeholders of the Program.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Cybersecurity projects such as Access Control, IAM, firewall upgrades, Dragos Implementation, Data Loss Prevention, AD consolidation/upgrade, and MicroSegmentation.
- Oversee the end-to-end implementation of OT security solutions, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop detailed project plans with resource assignments to execute projects.
- Develop and track metrics and reports.
- Manage projects from business case-to-implementation.
- Project Management includes: budget management, resource allocation, kick off meetings, project planning, project execution and control, communication, risk analysis, quality assurance, team and vendor management, and project implementation.
- Perform actual vs. planned analysis at the project level and forecast cost of the project.
- Develop project plans/scope/schedule and track progress, milestones, and deliverables.
- Facilitate and attend meetings with various technical and non-technical resources to capture project requirements, identify project milestones, communicate project timelines, track action items, and monitor project status.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
- Responsible for creating and sharing meeting agendas, as well as the distribution of follow-up notes and action items.
- Collect status from the team members and develop a weekly status report.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of IT Project Management experience in a Waterfall environment.
- Experience leading large IT Security or IT Infrastructure projects.
- 5 years of experience in managing Cyber Security projects.
- Experience in PMO processes and Stage gate processes.
- Must have experience managing projects using metrics such as ETC, EAC, SPI, and CPI.
- Must have hands-on experience developing resource loaded schedules.
- Must have experience managing budget/cost of the project and projecting monthly forecasts.
- Strong understanding of access control systems, such as Lenel, and cybersecurity principles.
- Must have hands-on experience developing SOW, Project Charter, Project Schedule, and Communications Plan.
- Ability to manage multiple high visibility projects simultaneously.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with internal resources and external vendors.
- Must have good experience identifying and managing risks.
- Expert understanding of the Project Management processes and methodologies.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
