ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY :
Comtech Systems, Inc (CSI) is looking for SATCOM Terminal Remote Monitoring (STRMM) Fielding Network Engineer candidates who will be responsible for managing STRMM and monitor and control software related issues OCONUS. The Network Field Service Representative will be responsible to assisting the SMC with OCONUS related trouble tickets related to the STRMM or Monitor & Control software. The Network Field Service Representative will be well versed with basic networking, and proficient with Python programming language, Java Programming language, and knowledgeable with Windows and Linux computing environments. In addition, the Network Field Service Representative will be familiar with modern web development (HTML5, JS, CSS, etc.). The Network Field Service Representative will also be responsible for coordinating with the STRMM Lead and STRMM Engineers for system priorities. Candidates will be expected to work with a spirit of cooperation and must exhibit a tenacious work ethic while possessing the drive and critical thinking to excel in potentially tumultuous conditions.
