ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY :
Comtech Systems, Inc (CSI) is looking for System Administrator Tier II Support candidates who will be responsible for maintaining and operating a computer system and / or network. Candidates will be expected to work with a spirit of cooperation and must exhibit a tenacious work ethic while possessing the drive and critical thinking to excel in potentially tumultuous conditions.
- Prefer candidates with a valid US passport.
- Must have an active, current Secret Clearance.
- Provide knowledge and familiarity with reviewing and deploying vendor updates for security patches.
- Provide knowledge with storage technologies such as Storage Area Network (SAN) or Network Attached Storage (NAS).
- Provide knowledge with server performance tuning and monitoring tools.
- Provide knowledge with server configuration and management tools (Microsoft System Center Operations manager (SCOM) and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)).
- Provide network troubleshooting skills and knowledge of networks.
- Provide technical documentation skills.
- Six (6) years of related work experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a military environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally with diverse audiences, internally and externally to foster strong teamwork.
- Work well independently or as a member of a team environment
- Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Experience in maintaining certifications related to the requirement of the position.

Preferred Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management or related field, OR an Associate's degree plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, OR eleven (11) total years of recent specialized experience.
