Responsibilities :

  • Serve as the primary sales point of contact for assigned accounts, maintaining strong and trusting relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute strategies to ensure customer satisfaction and retention, addressing challenges proactively and driving value through Comtech solutions.
  • Identify a customer growth path and revenue generating opportunities within existing accounts, promoting the adoption of advanced services, including NG911 solutions, location services, and call handling technologies.
  • Collaborate with customers to align their goals with Comtech's product capabilities, creating tailored solutions that enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Stay informed about developments in NG911, public safety communication technologies, and regulatory changes to provide valuable insights to customers.
  • Partner with internal teams (operations, product development, engineering, and support) to ensure customer needs are met and advocate for continuous improvement based on customer feedback.
  • Monitor account performance, including revenue growth, satisfaction levels, and retention rates, and report outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Ensure timely renewals and compliance with existing agreements, while identifying opportunities to optimize contractual arrangements.

Requirements :

  • 5 years of account management or sales experience within public safety, preferably specific to NG9-1-1 and Next Gen Core Services.
  • Proven track record of maintaining high customer retention rates and driving account growth.
  • Strong understanding of NG911 systems, public safety communications, and related regulatory frameworks.
  • Exceptional relationship management and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to align customer needs with technical solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales results, manage large accounts, and lead complex negotiations.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales software (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in a related field.
