Job Summary:
The Assistant Event Coordinator will support the planning, organization, and execution of events, including conferences, product launches, and corporate gatherings. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and coordinating company events, including venue selection, logistics, and vendor management.
- Work closely with the Event Coordinator to ensure timelines and budgets are adhered to.
- Handle communications with event participants, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Organize materials and supplies needed for events, such as promotional items, signage, and schedules.
- Assist in on-site event setup, registration, and breakdown.
- Track event-related expenses and prepare reports for management review.
- High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
