Delivery Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and maintaining the company's reputation for reliability.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and care of products.
• Follow assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking shipments and obtaining necessary signatures.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
• Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs promptly to management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar courier role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks associated with moving goods.
• Experience with route driving and knowledge of local roads is beneficial.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while meeting deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.92 - $20.05 per hour
