- Credit & Field Operations has openings for a Full-Time Customer Service Representative in the Work Management Group and is canvassing incumbent CSRs that have been in their position for at least six months and are interested in working at 88-11 165th Street, Jamaica, NY 11432.
- The hours are 7:00 am - 3:30pm, Monday thru Friday. Hybrid work is currently in effect, however, employee must be flexible. Employees required to physically report to 88-11 165th Street, Jamaica, NY 11432 three days a week. Employees work virtually from home 2 days a week. Please note, hybrid work is subject to change.
- This position is covered under DOT regulations.
Required Education/Experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- Knowledge of CC&B, Accounting Skills with the ability to adjust accounts appropriately, research websites, identify property owners and investigate to identify responsible customers. Required
- Ability to learn additional computer systems, such as ACCESS, EXCEL, as well as having an understanding of Gas Central, MAMS, MDMS, and CPMS. Required
- Highly motivated and customer focused. Required
- Excellent analytical skills and problem solving abilities. Required
- Good communication, organizational and follow up skills. Required
- Ability to work independently and maintain control of individually assigned work. In addition, ability to work with a team. Required
- Must be dependable, flexible and reliable with an energetic attitude toward consistent or increasing work volumes. Required
- Requires extensive contact with internal customers, such as Meter Operations, Energy Services and Gas Operations, and external customers and agencies. Required
- Must be capable of managing and taking phone calls throughout their entire shift. Required
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds
- Sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for the duration of the workday
- Possess manual dexterity and the ability to use hands for the duration of the workday
- Ability to stoop, bend, reach, and kneel throughout the workday
- Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
