Required Education / Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, or related Business Administration and a minimum 8 years of relevant experience or
Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, or related Business Administration and and a minimum 6 years of relevant experience

Understands SOX compliance requirements (e.g., Sections 302 and 404), COSO framework, and the companys internal controls, both business process and IT controls. Required and
Works independently to evaluate the design adequacy and operating effectiveness of controls in business processes and IT systems / applications; develops and reviews testing procedures. Required and
Train / coach staff in SOX-related functions; leads, supervises, and develops staff. Required and
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, etc. Required and
Have experience with TeamMate & Oracle and understanding / knowledge of the control environment of various IT systems / applications used in the Company. Preferred and
Knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps. Preferred
Licenses and Certifications
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Required

Additional Physical Demands
Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must be able and willing to travel within O&R and CECONY service territory, as needed.
Must be available 24 / 7, and available to be on call and / or participate in off-hour emergency response activities as required.
