The Specialist is responsible for supporting Gas Central production as part of the Gas Technology group. This employee will assist in ensuring that project support tickets and enhancements are completed on time while delivering high-quality customer service and solutions to the group's customers.

The Specialist is responsible for supporting Gas Central production as part of the Gas Technology group. This employee will assist in ensuring that project support tickets and enhancements are completed on time while delivering high-quality customer service and solutions to the group's customers.

- Plan and execute various project management activities.
- Create and edit required documents for Gas technology projects (business requirements, business process designs, vendor statements of work, etc.) with high-level attention to detail.
- Manage support tickets from intake through resolution providing timely updates to end users.
- Provide end user training support.
- Support project testing and defect remediation process.
- Adhere to productivity procedures and produce high-quality project deliverables and results.
- Strive to continuously improve performance.
- Provide status reports on budget and schedule as needed to Project Specialist and Project Manager.
- Attend project meetings as needed and help to ensure successful conclusions and proper closeouts.
- Willingness to continuously support the team and remain flexible to changes in related assignments and project activities required.
- Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or related field and 2 years' full time relevant work experience or
- Associate's Degree in Engineering, Business or related field and 4 years' full time relevant work experience or
- High School Diploma/GED and 6 years' full time relevant work experience.
- Experience in project management or related discipline (i.e., task, change &/or risk management). Required
- Must be able to exercise independent judgment and possess the ability to render sound business decisions.

- Must possess superior oral, written and presentation communication skills and be able to effectively interact with customers, support staff, subordinates and various levels of management. Required
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). Required

- Knowledge of the gas transmission and distribution systems and associated procedures, specifications and regulations is preferred. Preferred
- Knowledge of the various processes, forms and computer systems used by Gas Engineering and Operations.

- Well organized, detail oriented and flexible to handle multiple assignments
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, etc.
- Ability to work within tight timeframes and meet strict deadlines

- Sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for the duration of the workday
- Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
- Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory as needed.
- Must be able to attend various meetings at non-Company locations
Salary : $80,000 - $105,000
