What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr Engineer Gas Engineering - Transmission Major Projects position at Con Edison?
Required Education / Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical and with 8 years of engineering work experience
Relevant Work Experience
Knowledge of design, repair, and maintenance of gas transmission and distribution systems, pressure regulating stations and equipment, ROVs, and general system operation. Required
Working knowledge of State and Federal regulations concerning pressure regulation equipment / designs. Required
Licenses and Certifications
Additional Physical Demands
Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
Available for emergency work 24 / 7 as required by system conditions.
Must be capable or working at elevations and within tunnels.
Must successfully pass background check.
