As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and driven Inside Sales Representative to join our Mixer Division. This position is designed as a developmental role, providing a structured path for individuals interested in transitioning into an Outside Sales position in the future.
Position Summary
The Inside Sales Representative will play a key role in supporting our sales efforts by engaging with leads, managing customer relationships, and assisting with order coordination. This individual will work closely with the sales team to build foundational knowledge of our products, customers, and processes while gaining hands-on experience in sales operations.
This role is intended to serve as a training position for a future transition into Outside Sales, depending on performance, initiative, and company needs. This makes it an ideal opportunity for candidates to grow their sales career with a strong and reputable company.
Key Responsibilities
- Reach out to new leads, determine their needs, and help move them through the sales process.
- Schedule appointments and maintain consistent follow-ups to keep the sales pipeline moving forward.
- Support the outside sales team with customer communications and reporting.
- Generate and maintain reports for customers and management regarding order status, customer satisfaction, and sales activity.
- Provide timely updates and product information to enhance customer relationships.
- Utilize “Map My Customers” CRM software to manage leads, document interactions, and keep records current.
- Collaborate with logistics, admin, and production teams to ensure orders are accurate and fulfilled on time.
- Travel occasionally to trade shows and customer visits to support sales efforts and gain field experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales or a related role, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and lead management processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness and desire to travel and transition into an Outside Sales role over time.
