Our Client is a family-owned exterior building services and roof construction company

celebrating their 61st year. They have an opening for a full time Roofing Foreman to

assist in achievement of the company's strategic objective and annual goals through the

delivery of exceptional service and support reflective of their vision, mission, purpose,

and values.

They are a 21.5 million dollar company and plan to grow to $100 million over the next 5 years.

MUST have a roofing background.

Will work with GC's, HVAC and Plumbers.

Will manage subs.

Must live within 45 minutes of Sterling, VA as their jobs will be in Virginia / DC areas.

Can work in office or from home office as most of their jobs will be on job sites.

Position Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Roofing Foreman to oversee our roofing

projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate must have extensive knowledge of proper

installation of all types of siding, steep and low-slope roofing systems ensuring that work is

completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves

supervising teams of roofing subcontractor crews and ensuring compliance with safety

regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Management :

Under limited supervision performing multiple duties related to the management and

oversight of the day-to-day field operations of any given construction project, by

communicating project milestones and timeline for completion with Project

Management Team, Owners, Subcontractors, Architects, Engineers and Office Staff

in an efficient manner.

Be comfortable overseeing the entire operation of the construction site.

Team Leadership :

Supervise teams of independent roofing and siding contractors, providing guidance

and support to ensure high-quality workmanship.

Conduct regular site meetings to communicate project progress and address any

issues.

Quality Control :

Monitor work performance to ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.

Conduct inspections and quality assessments at various stages of the project. Safety Compliance :

Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all contractor members adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.

Conduct safety training sessions and ensure proper use of protective equipment. Budget Management :

Assist in estimating project costs and managing budgets effectively

Track project expenses and report on financial status to management.

Problem-Solving :

Identify and resolve issues that arise during the construction process, coordinating

with relevant parties as necessary.

Implement corrective actions as needed to mitigate risks and delays.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent; further education in construction management or

a related field is a plus.

Proven experience as a roofing foreman or in a similar supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and safety standards.

Removal and installation of all types of roof systems.

Installation of low sloped roof systems including TPO, BUR, modified bitumen, and

EPDM.

Roof maintenance and repairs.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
