Production 2nd & 3rd Shifts

Cortina Line Operator

• Hand casing, performing general upkeep, rework of rejected meals, filling case packer magazine, filling glue pots, rethreading tape, drive sky lift, able to operator sit down fork lift, able to assemble and disassemble totes, blending and open cases to dump into totes and spike the totes of ingredients as needed. Person will scan product within SAP transactions and WIP tracking sheets. You will be required to work in a room at 30 degrees Fahrenheit.

• Manually place and orient proper portions of prepared product / components (meat / vegetable / pasta) into trays as they pass on conveyor. Must be able to stand in one place for long periods of time.

• Manually break up frozen componentswith shovel or rake as needed. Load buckets of vegetables into feeder from bulk totes as required. Load bags of vegetables into rotary feeders and place empty bags in proper receptacle. Shovel components into feeders from tubs. Open boxes and dump products into tubs for hand placement. Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively.

Process Operator

• Use a scale to weigh-out ingredients. Manually dump bags, boxes, cases, buckets, baskets or scoops of ingredients, additives, spices and flavorings into batch according to approved recipe. Monitor batch cycle, take samples, perform quality checks and make necessary adjustments. Use machine controls / onboard computer to pump completed batches to appropriate holding as required. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
