Reporting to the Manager Plant Engineering, you will work on-site at one of Conagra's largest manufacturing facilities with over 800 employees. You will be responsible for all phases of assigned standard engineering projects, determine system requirement success criteria and select equipment that meets the best cost, schedule, and performance needs to meet required quality and safety standards.

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity. Position Responsibilities
- You will communicate with multiple team members (e.g., Operations, Finance, EHS and RQI), external interaction including equipment vendors, construction contractors, engineering services contractors, and co-manufacturing organizations.
- You will prepare or secure and review cost estimates, compile required cost and equipment information, and write appropriation requests.
- You will analyze engineering requirements to determine and design technical and business solutions for projects that require capital investment.
- You will develop Front-End-Loading packages (FEL's) that are complete and concise, and reflecting due diligence to ensure project success.
- You will develop subject matter expertise of the packaging principals and operating systems for assigned areas.
Position Qualifications
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Packaging Engineering (with emphasis on equipment), and Agricultural Engineering
- You will have practical experience of 2 years in food manufacturing and food packaging system design.
- You have proficiency using AutoCAD software and (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Travel percentage: up to 25%
