Process Operator - 3rd Shift

Starting pay of $20.47 plus a shift differential of $0.30 per hour.

You Will:

• You will complete/start batches depending on production.

• You will set-up Bosch / Roberts / Roll Pack bagger-packager, the scale and dump system, scales, metal detector, conveyors, electric eyes, according to the product being run.

• You will set kettle controls to proper settings following the work order and recipe and add water to Liquefiers.

• You will check work orders, recipes, ingredient inventory and code numbers.

• You will perform safety check on any equipment to be used in the daily operations and ensure that all other safety devices are functioning and turn-in check sheet.

• You will obtain pallets of ingredients from staging with a power jack using first in/first out process and transport to workstation.

• You will change Film Rolls.

• You will manually remove roller bar and secure it to the full roll.

• You will splice / tape new roll to old and remove spent films.

• You will perform general housekeeping tasks, place trash in bins and maintain a safe work area.

• You will use a scale to weigh-out ingredients.

• You will monitor packager, scales, metal detector, conveyors, and electric eyes, according to the product being run.

• You will troubleshoot machinery, equipment and conveyors; make minor repairs and adjustment buckets.

• You will check scales, clear jams, clean heater bar, dump rework, and complete weight and quality checks.

• You will manually dump bags, boxes, cases, buckets, baskets or scoops of ingredients, additives, spices and flavorings into batch according to approved recipe.
