Produce Receiving Clerk (Seasonal)

Conagra Brands facility located in Imlay City, Michigan, has an opportunity for an afternoon (2nd Shift) Produce Receiving Clerk. You will work at the home of the Vlasic brand to support receipt of incoming produce. This is a seasonal position February-November with recall opportunity. You will receive hourly pay $16.75/hr. plus overtime.

You will report to the Produce Receiving Team Leader to coordinate incoming shipments to achieve a smooth flow of material to the production lines. You will maintain detailed records of incoming and outgoing shipments and complete required verification. You will assist shift team leaders in preparing work schedules and expediting workflow.

What will you do as a Produce Receiving Clerk

• Coordinate produce receiving operations and production support.

• Schedule produce or ingredients to meet plant and corporate goals.

• Ensure compliance of produce rotation and QA inspection/hold programs.

• Audit inventory for accuracy and obsolete product.

• Enforce the plant's safety program and food safety requirements.

• Help with elimination of work hazards and unsafe acts.

• Submit work orders for repairs and recommend changes for safe operation.

• Help guide projects to reduce cost and improve productivity.

• Coordinate other activities in produce receiving.

Position Qualifications

• 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office suite

• Overtime and weekend work to meet business demand

• You will work onsite at the Imlay City location

Compensation:

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity.
