What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Team Leader 3rd Shift position at CONAGRA?
You will help coordinate the flow of all production operations and communicate work assignments to the team members to exceed all company and facility goals. You are also responsible for associate job rotation and assigning overtime, following CBA. Other responsibilities include assisting the Production Supervisor with daily reports and ensuring that all reports are accurate.
The Production Team Leader is onsite in St. Elmo, Illinois and reports to the Production Supervisor.
You will oversee the following responsibilities within the Production Department:
Promote safety; take corrective action and set example.
Committed to producing safe, quality food.
Provide work direction to other hourly associates in assigned production department.
Communicate with leadership the status of production and provide prompt notification of any major problems.
Help ensure that plant is kept clean and that proper sanitation procedures are followed.
Coordinate the training of new and current employees within assigned department. Show or clarify proper work procedure by personal activities.
You will ensure quality specifications and GMP's are met and set the example.
Complete required record keeping and other paperwork/documentation.
Support CPS (Conagra Performance Systems) at all levels
Complete SAP processes to support operations.
Use team building concepts to facilitate meeting planned goals.
Enter employee schedules into Kronos and verifying/signing off on weekly timecards.
Verify and file production paperwork.

Prefer the Production Team Leader have 1 year of previous knowledge or experience of production and facility operations and be able to work weekends. You have computer experience and the necessary skills to use the time and attendance system, and other applications, ability to work with different work departments, and levels of management. communicate needs to maintenance. Preferably the Team Leader will have mechanical experience. Must have a history of working safely, and a good attendance record.
