What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Leader position at CONAGRA?
We are looking for a Project Leader to join our team in Hagerstown, MD.
The Project Leader, reporting to the Plant Manager, will plan and coordinate multiple small to medium capital projects and will partner with corporate engineering for tasks such as capital planning. You will manage all aspects of scope development, cost estimates and schedule by collaborating both within the Hagerstown plant and engineering organization.
Position Responsibilities
- You will frequently work with plant leadership, engineering, and external interaction will include, however, not limited to, equipment vendors, construction contractors, engineering services contractors, local / state / federal government agencies, and co-manufacturing organizations.
- You will manage a range of small to medium projects. Project values up to $1M and could be bigger depending on the complexity
- You will execute project initiatives to ensure that all projects are completed to meet business needs.
- You will ensure that all project planning, deliverables, reporting, and spending forecasts are managed and that all projects are delivered within cost, schedule and performance success criteria.
- You will independently manage capital projects from development to completion and interface with the right partners to deliver business results and value.
Position Qualifications
- 5 years of direct industrial project leadership experience
- BS in an Engineering discipline. Formal project management training or certifications are positives, for employment consideration.
- Direct accountability for projects with a complexity of at least $1 million
Compensation:
Pay Range:$79,000-$115,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
