Warehouse Operator (Freezer)

Conagra Brands in Hagerstown, proud makers of Gardein, is looking for a Freezer Warehouse Operator to join our 2nd shift team. You will join a team of about 250 and will report to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Schedule:

2nd Shift | Monday - Friday | 3:30pm - midnight | You will need to be available for possible weekend work

Starting Pay:

$22.19/hour $1/hour shift differential | Your wage will increase over time!

Essential duties:

• Transport raw materials, finished goods, and equipment throughout the facility using a forklift, reach truck, dock stocker, ride-on pallet jack or ASRS system

• Use an RF gun to perform transactions, including: receiving, put away, transfers, and performing inventory inquiries

• Conduct pre-shift inspections on equipment to ensure safe use during the day and communicating any issues to Warehouse Supervisors

• Perform vehicle inspections by checking tires, lights, brakes, and the reefer unit

• Maintain a clean working environment

• Able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 30lbs frequently

• Able to lift, push, pull, up to 50lbs occasionally

• Perform basic preventive maintenance and maintenance tasks as assigned

• Coordinate and communicate with production to assess the need for raw materials; locate supplies in the warehouse and bringing it to where it is needed

• Inform Warehouse Supervisors of raw material shortages

• Following our safety policies and procedures

• Work in other areas to help the business

• Verify each pallet moved is the correct item, lot, weight, or quantity and scanned to the correct physical location.

• Work in a cold environment, 0 degrees.

• Work overtime to achieve production and shipping schedules.

• Other responsibilities as assigned

Experience:

• Warehouse and/or food manufacturing experience

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
