Compliance Coordinator (Hybrid) must be able to work at either corporate office in San Diego, Fresno, or Riverside, CA.

What We Are Looking For:
We are seeking a Compliance Coordinator to manage affordable programs, focusing on compliance, reporting, and tracking at our corporate location CalCoast Office in San Diego, CA, or one of the following regional locations: Fresno, CA or Riverside, CA.
This is a full-time position with full benefits. Pay range: $30.00 - $31.25 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Software Management and Support
- Resolve software issues (e.g., BostonPost) for compliance tickets.
- Gather and organize property information for BostonPost or Yardi setup, ensuring regulatory and program details are complete.
- Collaborate with Compliance Managers and IT to quickly set up new properties and process new households.
Reporting
- Update databases and spreadsheets to track reporting progress and ensure timely completion.
- Collect, publish, and distribute accurate reports to relevant parties.
Training
- Assist in training community associates through written feedback and coaching.
- Support ongoing training and development through one-on-one coaching and group sessions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations through professional education and required training.
Compliance Support
- Support Compliance teams with tasks such as utility allowance checks, recertifications, and agency reporting.
- Coordinate Compliance Summit and ALC events.
- Update the online compliance manual and provide backup for auditor, subsidy, and analyst roles when needed.
Who You Are: (Requirements of the Position)
- You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the affordable housing industry.
- You have a minimum of 2 years of experience on reporting, data analysis, and project coordination.
- Organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
- You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with residents, vendors, and team members professionally.
- You have proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with Yardi, Boston Post, Real Page, or other affordable platform highly desired.
- Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
- Team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response
