Design and Installation:
- Develop in-house electrical and instrumentation design applications and test systems for new and existing systems to support product development, calibration, and testing.
- Develop and maintain software tools that generate product performance reports for both internal and external customers.
- Install and commission electrical systems, control panels, and instrumentation.
- Ensure that installations comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical and instrumentation systems into manufacturing processes.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Perform regular maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits, control systems, and instrumentation devices to identify and resolve issues quickly.
- Conduct inspections and calibrations to ensure that all equipment is functioning according to specifications.
- Program and maintain various PLC controlled systems for the manufacturing floor.
- Conduct system validation and oversee integration of test systems.
System Optimization:
- Analyze system performance and recommend improvements to optimize production efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and ensure product quality.
- Support plant automation by fine-tuning control systems and integrating advanced technologies.
- Use automation to enhance and implement new or existing work with outside vendors to enable process efficiency
Project Management:
- Lead or participate in projects related to electrical upgrades, system modifications, or new installations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical and instrumentation systems into manufacturing processes.
- Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
- Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure all electrical and instrumentation systems are designed, installed, and maintained according to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions to mitigate hazards associated with electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Maintain detailed records of system configurations, maintenance logs, and safety inspections.
Collaboration and Training:
- Work closely with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues and optimize plant performance.
- Provide training and support to junior engineers, technicians, and operators on electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Stay current on technological advancements and industry trends to ensure continuous improvement.
Salary ranges for this position is determined based on experience, reflecting our commitment to valuing the expertise and contributions of our individual teammates. The salary range for this role is $70,000 - 120,000.
