Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The General Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs within the facilities. Assists in keeping all equipment, buildings, and property in proper working condition.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
- Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
- Plans repair work using buildings blueprints or equipment manual as needed.
- Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
- Performs routine maintenance on building systems.
- Performs routine maintenance on water filter, eye wash stations, etc.
- Performs preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment as required.
- Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
- Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
- Assists in repairing raw material silo’s, concrete mixers, concrete pumps; forklift repair and maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors/managers.
- Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
- Must be able to climb, bend, kneel, reach, and lift.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Excellent mechanical and troubleshooting ability.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Must be able to speak English
- Good attendance required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
