Material Handler/ Forklift driver

It’s a great time to be a part of Concast Inc. Team! We are a locally owned fast-growing manufacturer of prefabricated concrete. We are expanding our facilities in several locations, and we are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Material Handler. This position is open in our plant in Wanamingo, Minnesota.

SUMMARY:

Performs a combination of tasks including but not limited to receiving, filling, shipping, and inspecting orders accurately and in a timely manner; efficiently and safely loads, unloads and convey products.

Drives forklift frequently outside.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Pallet, stack, and prep product for shipping.

· Identifies damaged products and records product shortages.

· Loads and unloads products onto and from a variety of containers including but not limited to trucks, racks, pallets; utilizes appropriate tools to accomplish tasks.

· Transports incoming and outgoing products to designated areas

· Maintains a safe, clean working environment.

· Participates in quality improvement efforts.

· Performs required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports and correspondence.

· Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS: Required

· One to two years related experience or equivalent.

· Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods.

· Forklift certified, preferred. Forklift Experience, required.

· Ability to work with minimal supervision, or with a team

• No weekends
