Key Responsibilities:
- Deal Execution: Support deal teams throughout the transaction process, from origination to closing.
- Financial Modeling: Assist in developing detailed financial models, working closely with senior team members to analyze financial statements, market trends, and valuation metrics.
- Transaction Support: Contribute to capital raising and M&A transactions, preparing investor and marketing materials while identifying potential acquirers and funding sources.
- Due Diligence: Participate in in-depth client and prospect diligence, analyzing financial and strategic positioning.
- Financial Analysis: Organize and evaluate complex financial data to develop insights for client proposals and strategic decision-making.
- Client Presentations & Industry Research: Prepare high-quality presentation materials, industry reports, and pitch decks for prospective and existing clients.
- Market Research & Business Development: Conduct industry and company research, track funding sources, and assist in prospecting efforts for senior leadership at conferences and events.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Experience: 1-5 years of investment banking, Big 4 accounting (Transaction Advisory Services or Audit), or related financial analysis experience preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and financial statement analysis. Experience with DealCloud, Salesforce, or other CRM platforms is a plus.
- Communication & Professionalism: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle confidential information professionally and interact with senior executives.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong quantitative and analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability & Initiative: A self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial, team-oriented setting, with the ability to work under pressure and adjust to shifting priorities.
