Job Summary
The Forklift Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance on industrial equipment, including but not limited to electric forklifts, AGV / LGVs, racking, dock & doors, scissor lifts, tuggers, floor scrubbers and golf carts, Robotics, Conveyor systems, case sealers & erectors. 5 Years Minimum Experience in forklift repair a must! Must have own tools, strong technology skills, strong office skills, self-motivated, organization skills, great communication skills, relationship building skills, team building skills, and works well under pressure in all situations.
Key Job Responsibilities :
- Point of contact for customers
- Facilitate pm schedule.
- Facilitate work / Repair request.
- Facilitate teamwork schedule.
- Provide shift coverage for PTO.
- Willing to be On Call
- Communicate PTO coverage plans with customers.
- Coordinate and drive warranty requests
- Facilitate outside vendor work (PO process and billing)
- Facilitate all outside of scope work.
- Parts Ordering and Inventory Management (5S Inventory Skills)
- Troubleshoot equipment failures, including root cause analysis. Including research of potential warranty, rework and continuously repetitive repairs using historical equipment data available through Field Connect service platform.
- Complete all repairs of equipment in a timely manner and by the manufacturer’s repair guidelines.
- Judgment and Decision Making - Consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate course of action.
- Inspecting Equipment - Perform audits on equipment audits per the PM Planning tools schedule in Field Connect service platform.
- Communications - Provide information to supervisor, co-workers, and subordinates by phone, in writing, e-mail, or in person.
- Timely and accurate completion of all work orders and service records per the Concentric time standard.
- Maintain accurate and timely entry of work hours in Paylocity time keeping platform.
- Safety
o All work must be completed in a safe manner.
o Safety requirements by customer and Concentric must be adhered to.
o Work areas will be maintained to ensure safety.
o Work areas will be kept clean and organized daily.
o Timely Completion of Safety training modules.

Requirements :
Electrical - 480V, VFD’s, Relays, Motor Controls, electric motors, HMI’s, Contactors, Timers, Proximity Sensors / Switches, Electro-Mechanical background, Industrial Batteries. Autostore brand robot experience a plus!
Mechanical - Gear boxes, Chains, Sprockets, MHE Equipment / Electric Forklifts, Hydraulic systems, Dock and Door experience. Arc, Mig, and Tig welding experience preferred.
