Responsibilities/Qualifications:
- Mid-Level 5 years of experience
- Must have: PTC testing/engineering experience, Microsoft office expert level experience.
- Good to have: SQL
- PTC operations analysis experience 5 years
- PTC messaging analysis 3 years
- PTC testing experience 3 years
- GCOR knowledge 2 years
- Monitor all installed systems supported by the operating technologies group including PTC following standard work.
- Assist with different teams testing and evaluating new systems for future use.
- Evaluate existing systems and provide technical direction to the support teams.
- You will communicate problems found, impact to operations and mitigation plan to field and office management to ensure cooperation and coordination to minimize impact to train operations.
- You will provide primary engineering support to the operating teams (field employees, test engineers) with regards to PTC and other projects supported by the operating tech team.
- You will develop a complete understanding of the technical aspects of the PTC system and software requirements.
- You will support PTC deployment and operations, assisting in the triage of problem reports and identify defects/issues and suggests solutions that increase the efficiency of PTC operations.
