About the role
Concept Plus is seeking a Program Manager to manage software development teams for client"s capability to manage and track maintenance data for all systems. The right candidate will understand maintenance data and processes from organizational, intermediate, and depot-level maintenance activities including everything from routine inspections to major repairs.
What you"ll do
The Program Manager will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of IT systems requirements consistent with company strategy, commitments, and goals. This role involves leading the program and project staff and providing strategic guidance to teams in ways that achieve client goals and promote the company's culture and vision. The Program Manager will oversee operations progress and serve as key personnel for seamless team management and development, program delivery, quality control, and evaluation.
The Program Manager will manage software development teams for the Air Force capability to manage and track maintenance data for all weapon systems. The right candidate will understand maintenance data and processes from organizational, intermediate, and depot-level maintenance activities including everything from routine inspections to major repairs. Knowledge and understanding of Air Force weapon systems reliability and maintainability will be helpful and how information can be used to improve maintenance practices, optimize resource allocation, and make informed decisions about equipment sustainment. Air Force financial audit experience would be a plus as the Program Manager would support the Government in conducting audits, briefings, and reporting.
Qualifications
- US Citizenship with ability to obtain and / or maintain a Secret Clearance
- Bachelors Degree
- PMP certification
- 10 years of experience leading IT programs
- The ideal candidate has Air Force maintenance experience. i.e., LT Col or Major from an Air Force Maintenance Squadron or a senior NCO (E8 / 9).
