Job Title: After Hours Emergency On-Call Technician
Location: Orem to Ogden, UT
Job Type: Part-Time/On-Call (Monday - Friday, 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Average Hours: 15 or more hours per week (Hours based on need, not guaranteed)
Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Emergency On-Call Technician to provide emergency services from Orem to Ogden. The technician will be responsible for responding to urgent issues related to plumbing, HVAC, boilers, and lockouts during evening and overnight hours. This position requires flexibility, the ability to problem-solve quickly, and the capacity to work efficiently under pressure with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency calls within the assigned service area (Orem to Ogden) during the hours of 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday.
- Diagnose and repair plumbing, HVAC, boiler, and lockout issues quickly and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain clear communication with clients during emergency situations.
- Ensure all service vehicles are maintained and stocked with necessary equipment.
- Complete service reports and document all work performed accurately.
- Be available for on-call shifts and respond to requests as needed during the specified hours.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in plumbing, HVAC, boilers, and lockout services.
- Problem Solving: Must be able to think critically and troubleshoot quickly under pressure.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Availability: Must be available at all times during the hours of 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday. Hours are not guaranteed and are based on need.
- Dependability: Strong work ethic and reliability in being available when called.
- Customer Service: Must be able to de-escalate stressful situations for our tenants.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to work quickly and efficiently in high-pressure situations.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Must be a self starter.
- Must have your own tools, we do not provide tools.
- Must be able to use an iPhone and learn applications (Appfolio, Zinspector, Gmail).
