Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Tool Crib Attendant to join our team. The Tool Crib Attendant will be responsible for managing the tool crib, maintaining inventory, and ensuring that all tools and equipment are in optimal condition for use in our CNC machining operations. They will also be involved with tool purchasing as needed to maintain stock levels and ensure machines continue production with limited downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

· Organize, issue, and maintain tools and equipment for CNC machining operations.

· Track tool usage and maintain accurate inventory records.

· Inspect tools for wear and damage, and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.

· Ensure all tools are calibrated and meet quality standards.

· Responsible for helping to control the company’s overall tool expenditures, minimizing waste and playing a key role in cost efficiency.

· Collaborate with machinists and supervisors to meet production needs.

· Maintain a clean and safe tool crib environment.

· Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and participate in team meetings.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Previous experience in a tool crib or similar environment, preferably in a CNC machine shop.

· The ideal person would have experience in machining and or manufacturing.

· Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality standards a plus.

· Strong organizational and inventory management skills.

· Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

· Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and record-keeping.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
