From $21 to $30 an hour, commensurate with experience.

Position Summary: Programmers are responsible for all required programming for Casework and Millwork items using AutoCAD, Microvellum, Cut-Rite, WoodWop or other provided programs. Programmers review all programming for completeness and accuracy prior to releasing them to the plant for manufacturing and must be able to convert our drawings into production through the equipment at Concepts in Millwork. Programmers also must educate themselves on raw materials, Concepts in Millwork's tooling, and our construction practices.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Create all required programming for Casework and Millwork items using Microvellum, Cut-Rite, WoodWop or other provided programs.
- Follow and maintain Concepts’ Engineering Standards.
- Create DXF drawings using AutoCAD.
- Recognize and address possible coordination, manufacturing, or installation issues during programming process.
- Partner Engineering Standards, Submittals & Training Manager to accurately understand design methods used in creation of shop drawings when required.
- Create all lay-up list, Edgeband takeoffs and cut list to plant for use in manufacturing process using Microvellum software.
- Review all programming for completeness and accuracy prior to releasing them to the Plant for manufacturing.
- Assist plant during manufacturing as needed, to obtain a higher understanding for processes of manufacturing millwork.
- Maintain work area, organized and orderly, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications Desired:
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in millwork fabrication, installation and/or construction trades/plans is preferred.
- Previous experience using or working with an Edgebander, CNC Machine and/or Panel saw.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microvellum, Cut-Rite and/or WoodWop preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Demonstrated experience effectively managing workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to quickly determine all that is required for a job, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal or no supervision.
- Possess a high-level of attention to detail and organization skills.
- Possess a positive and professional attitude.
