What You’ll Do :
Strategic Financial Leadership
Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, Board of Directors, and senior leadership team.
Develop and implement financial strategies to support organizational goals.
Lead financial planning, analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
Financial Operations and Compliance
Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, payroll, and grants management.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and non-profit accounting standards.
Manage risk through internal controls, audits, and insurance policies.
Budgeting and Resource Allocation
Lead the preparation and monitoring of annual operating and capital budgets.
Ensure resources are aligned with programmatic priorities and mission objectives.
Team Leadership and Development
Supervise and mentor the finance team to achieve excellence and professional growth.
Promote a collaborative, mission-driven organizational culture.
Grants and Donor Support
Oversee financial management of grants, contracts, and donor-restricted funds.
Collaborate with program leaders to ensure proper allocation and compliance.
What We’re Looking For :
Education and Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or MBA preferred).
7-10 years of progressive financial leadership, ideally in non-profit or human services.
Expertise in fund accounting and compliance with OMB Uniform Guidance.
Skills and Competencies :
Strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
Advanced proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and Excel.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local funding streams, including Title IV-E grant funding requirements and compliance.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders.

Working Hours :
The role is primarily Monday through Friday during regular business hours. After completing the training period, hybrid work options may be approved by the supervisor. Additional in-office days or visits to other office sites will be required periodically, based on organizational needs.
