Part time Supervised Visitation Monitor needed

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Monitor to join our team. Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and support to individuals, ensuring their safety and well-being in various settings.
• Conduct regular assessments of clients' needs and develop appropriate intervention strategies.
• Implement crisis management techniques and provide crisis intervention when necessary.
• Collaborate with social workers, healthcare providers, and other professionals to coordinate care for clients.
• Maintain accurate documentation of interactions, assessments, and interventions.
• Facilitate communication between clients and their families, as well as with external agencies such as child protective services.
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage positive behavior changes among clients.
• Advocate for the rights of individuals with disabilities and ensure they receive appropriate services.
• Stay informed about family law, child welfare policies, and best practices in childcare.

Qualifications.

• Familiarity with child protective services and child welfare systems is highly desirable.
• Experience working with children and families in various capacities is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities.
• A commitment to advocating for vulnerable populations is essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 32 per week
