Job Title: Ab Initio Developer ( AWS & Spark )
Location : Plano, TX/ Wilmington, DE ( Onsite )
Experience – 8
Technical Skill Set Mandatory
( AWS & Spark )
Thorough understanding in ETL Architecture and being able to provide designs and solutions independently in ETL
Experience working with various Ab Initio program components such as Reformat, Rollup,Scan, Join, Partition by key, - Partition by Round Robin, Gather, Merge, Sort, Lookup etc.
Experience with various Ab Initio parallelism techniques, Ab Initio Graphs using Data, Pipeline Component parallelisms.
Working knowledge in Big Data / Hadoop Eco system and HDFS commands.
Experience working on heterogeneous datasets Hadoop files/XLS/XML/COBOL etc and integration with source systems via SFTP/MFTS/SSH routes
Experience and expertise on SQL/PL SQL and Unix shell scripting.
Working Knowledge on Ab Initio air commands and m commands.
Working Knowledge on Ab Initio Operational Console and Control Center
Good knowledge in Data warehousing concepts. Strong Analysis skills.
Good experience in Plans, Conduct IT, Query IT, MHUB
Very good problem-solving skills to analyse and provide problem resolution.
Ability to support onshore-offshore models. Participate in Agile methodologies and attend Scrum calls and handover
Working knowledge on Cloud Technologies – AWS (EKS/Athena/S3 etc) preferred and integration to Ab Initio
Working experience on DevOps tool – Github, Bitbucket, Ansible
Working experience on various relational databases – Oracle/Teradata/DB2/MSSQL
Working experience on scheduling tools like Control M/Autosys/Tivoli
Others
Must have handled any migration projects end to end and shown willingness to learn and perform with new technologies and not limited to ETL
Working experience in Ab Initio BRE Business Rule Environment or ACE Application
Ability to Lead and Manage team and Interact with End users & clients.
Proficient in creating documentation related to Project Architecture, Project end User Manual and Operations Hand off guide.
Good knowledge of Quality processes.
Good verbal and written communication skills
