Title: Sr. SQL Server Database Administrator
Term: 9 Months Contract
Location: Washington, DC(Hybrid)
Interview: Inperson
DBA with 11-15 years of experience to manage Child Support Services Microsoft SQL databases. Candidates should possess expert knowledge of MSSQL, emphasis on planning, analysis, design, & implementation of databases, reports, & report interfaces.
- Designs and maintains on premises SQL Server databases and tables
- Provide customer support, to internal and external customers
- Produce system and custom reports upon request using SQL queries
- Reviews and prepares technical documentation, including data dictionaries definitions, systems flows, program flows, database designs,
- Oversee enhancements and new feature deployment, including the development requirements and testing scripts
- Responsible for database problem diagnosis and resolution
- Recommends improvements to database systems based on the latest developments within the IT field
Responsibilities:
- Contributes to policies for effective process planning as it relates to new requirements.
- Possesses expert knowledge of the Structured Query Language (SQL) environment with particular emphasis on planning, analysis, design and implementation of reports and report interfaces intended for the end user.
- Participates in short-term tactical planning implementation.
- Contributes to long-term strategic planning.
