GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Behavioral Health Services Reception Supervisor is responsible for the following duties: managing incoming phone calls on a multi-line phone system; scheduling patient appointments; successfully and consistently backfilling clinic appointment vacancies; completing daily appointment confirmation calls; preparing appointment reminder cards; maintaining patient routing slips; managing lab appointments; assisting new patients with required paperwork; safety oversight of lobby; responsible for completing clinic purchase requisitions; opening/stamping/distributing daily mail; completing clinic open/close procedures; managing inventory of office supplies; managing petty cash; distributing and collecting patient satisfaction surveys; scanning documents into electronic health records; and supervising two reception clerks.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, & EXPERIENCE: Graduation from accredited high school/GED; Some Business/Commercial College preferred. A minimum of 1-year experience as a receptionist or basic business training equivalent; Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) speaking applicants preferred; Supervisory experience preferred.
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Texas Driver License required.
- Must not have more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Must be insurable on the Center’s insurance.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to complete all MHMR Concho Valley training.
SHIFT: M-F, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
