Receptionist - Clerk I: This position is responsible for the following duties: Managing incoming phone calls, responsible for scheduling appointments, successfully and consistently backfilling appointment vacancies, completing daily appointment confirmation calls, preparing appointment cards, maintaining patient routing slips, managing lab appointments, assisting new patients with required paperwork, safety oversight of the lobby, opening/stamping/distributing mail, completing clinic open/close procedures, providing reception back-up coverage at different locations as needed, managing inventory of office supplies and distributing, collecting patient satisfaction surveys, scanning documents into the electronic health record.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, & EXPERIENCE
- Graduation from a standard high school or provide documentation that the General Equivalency Examination has been obtained.
- Some Business or Commercial College preferred.
- Bilingual/Spanish, preferred.
ESSENTIAL TASKS
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience working with a multi-line phone system.
- Strong computer skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work comfortably and easily in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of client interaction.
- Effective multi-tasking skills.
- Punctuality is a MUST!
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Texas Driver’s License required and reliable transportation.
- Must not have more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
SHIFT
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
