Early Head Start/Head Start Cook/Custodian Substitute
Early Head Start/Head Start Cook/Custodian Substitute:
- Food preparation experience is preferred
- Must be willing to obtain and maintain Basic First Aid
- Experience in food preparation and inventory control preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation and storage techniques are helpful
The position of Early Head Start/Head Start Cook/Custodian Substitute responsible for continuing duties in the absence of the current cook and/or custodian. A strong food service program is important in supporting the goals of the program. This position is may aid in preparing, serving and documentation of meals and snacks. It includes following menus and all phases of kitchen operations including inventory control. This position is also responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and functional kitchen.
