Qualifications:
- 1 year of caregiving experience with a company, or CNA license
- CNA students may apply
- Hoyer lift and gait belt experience preferred
- Driver's License, Proof of Auto Insurance, and Social Security Card required
- Must be able to work in homes with well behaved pets
Responsibilities:
- Light housekeeping
- Transportation and respite/companion care to preserve a safe home
- Encouraging independent living and enhancing quality of life.
- Companionship and conversation
- Providing stabilization and assistance with transfers
- Preparing meals and assisting with meals
- Providing medication reminders and appointment reminders
- Performing light housekeeping tasks
- Providing transportation and escorting client
- Assistance with bathing and grooming
- Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
- Providing assistance with Complex Medical Needs such as Medication Administration (including insulin administration) G-Tube feedings Catheter Care Moderate wound care
- We also have nurses or healthcare professionals that can provide training to those who need it for Complex Medical Needs
