We are seeking a part-time to full-time, energetic, personable, and detail-oriented Sales Representative to support our practice by converting interested patient leads into active members.
Position Summary:
As a Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in engaging potential members and guiding them through the enrollment process. You will educate patients on the benefits of the OptumMD concierge medicine program, address their questions, and provide a seamless onboarding experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and build trust will be key to increasing membership and ensuring patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the on-site representative during office hours (typically 30 hours per week), engaging with interested patients.
- Facilitate the conversion of qualified patient leads into active concierge medicine members.
- Support the planning, coordination and execution of patient enrollment events to drive membership growth
- Clearly communicate the benefits and value of the OptumMD membership program.
- Assists in developing and executing social media strategies to drive membership growth and engagement.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient interactions in the OptumMD database.
- Participate in staff training sessions to ensure alignment on program benefits and messaging.
- Act as a resource for patients, physicians, and staff, supporting and educating them throughout the enrollment process.
- Respond to patient inquiries in person, via phone, and by email.
- Assist with patient meetings and enrollment events, some of which may take place in the evening.
- Follow up with potential members to address concerns and encourage enrollment.
- Provide daily updates to the physician and staff regarding enrollment progress.
- Submit daily reports on patient interactions and conversions to OptumMD’s leadership.
- Meet or exceed membership enrollment goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Sales & Customer Engagement: Strong background in sales, healthcare, hospitality, or customer service, with a persuasive communication style.
- Excellent Communication: Ability to listen actively and articulate program benefits clearly and confidently.
- Self-Motivated & Adaptable: Skilled at assessing patient needs and adjusting messaging to address concerns effectively.
- Professionalism: Polished, confident, and able to build relationships in a medical office setting.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to manage patient databases. Experience with CRM software such as Hubspot.
- Flexibility: Open to a flexible part-time schedule within our standard Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30 pm hours. Willing to transition into a full-time role as opportunities for growth arise.
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree required, with 4 years of professional experience in sales, healthcare, high-end hospitality, or customer service.
