Position Overview
We are seeking a Clinical Director to oversee daily clinical and administrative operations, ensuring smooth practice management while maintaining our high standards of patient care. This leadership role requires a dynamic professional who can effectively manage staff, optimize workflows, and step in as needed to support clinical and front desk duties.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Administrative Leadership
· Manage and oversee clinical and administrative staff, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Create and maintain clinical schedules, optimizing provider and staff efficiency.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures to maintain high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clinical and administrative concerns, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for master accounts (Epic Care Links, Labcorp, CovermyMeds…etc.)
- Serve as primary liaison for all industry and pharma reps (products, testing, services)
Staffing, Training & Development
- Recruit, onboard, and train new employees, ensuring alignment with practice values and protocols.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and mentorship.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting professional growth and team cohesion.
Patient Care & Operational Support
- Step in to perform Medical Assistant duties as needed, including patient intake, vitals, phlebotomy, and assisting providers with procedures.
- Cover front desk responsibilities when necessary, including scheduling, patient check-in/out, and handling inquiries.
- Ensure excellent patient experience by maintaining a warm, professional, and efficient practice environment.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Maintain adherence to all state and federal healthcare regulations, HIPAA, OSHA, and practice policies.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring proper stock of medical supplies and equipment.
- Monitor and improve workflow efficiencies to enhance patient and provider satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills
- Required:
- Clinical background (Medical Assistant, LPN, or RN preferred).
- or outpatient setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to multitask and step into various roles when needed.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and other healthcare regulations.
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on patient experience.
- Preferred:
- Experience in concierge healthcare settings.
- Experience with Athena Health EMR
