General Description: The QA/QI Risk Management Specialist will work 37.5 hours a week, supporting the monitoring and evaluation processes and activities within all Concilio Programs to ensure the quality and integrity of services. The Risk Management Specialist supports the Risk Manager in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks within the organization. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, and supporting the integration of risk management into quality improvement efforts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Risk Manager in conducting organizational risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and operational standards.
- Collaborate with the QA/QI Specialists to incorporate risk considerations into quality reviews and improvement activities.
- Document and track identified risks, incidents, and corrective actions to mitigate risk exposure.
- Support audits and assessments related to risk management and safety protocols.
- Provide recommendations to management on ways to minimize risk exposure and improve operational safety.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations on risk management metrics for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to risk management.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in public health or a related field; a combination of education and experience will be considered
- Minimum 2 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management frameworks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and risk management software.
- Professional demeanor in communicating and representing the QAQI Department
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent management, organizational and administrative skills
Physical Demands
The physical demands require this position to frequently sit at a desk for long periods of time. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include that which are necessary for long-term computer usage and exposure to blue light.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and humid conditions, high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, the risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to occasionally loud.
Salary : $50,000 - $52,000
