What are the responsibilities and job description for the HouseKeeping position at Concord Care Center of Toledo?
Evening position 5pm-10pm 5days a week.
Clean patients rooms daily, unoccupied and occupied.
Cleans rooms for discharge: stripping and remaking bed, polishing furniture, cleaning bathrooms, etc
Wet mops floors in patient rooms.
Responsible for isolation room cleaning.
Cleans and disinfects public and patients bathrooms daily.
Empties and dispose of office and patients garbage.
Cleans lobby and other public area.
Vacuums carpet area daily.
Responsible for cleaning patient area, dinning and activity rooms.
Responsible for following the department's infection control procedure.
Report all equipmenet failures and problems to supervisor immediately.
Attends in-service.
Perform other duties assigned.
Physical Requirement
Continuous bending, twisting, reaching, grasping, crawling, squatting, and climbing.
Ability to push and pull up to 40 pounds.
Lifting up to 30 pounds.
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent.
Ability to understand and interpret company policies and procedures, emergency procedures and Hazard communication procedures.
Sufficient verbal and written communication skills to perform the task required.
