We are looking for a Front office coordinator/receptionist to join our team on a daily basis (Mon- Thursday 8AM - 5 pm) and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. As a front desk person , you will be the first point of contact for our patients.

Your duties would include welcoming guests and greeting patients who visit our office. You will coordinate front-desk activities, including correspondence with patients and answering phone calls. To be successful as a receptionist, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. We are looking for an up-beat personality to add to our staff.

Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. Ultimately, a receptionist’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively, and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g., pens, forms and brochures)
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
  • Update calendars and schedule meetings
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, transcribing and faxing
  • Process patient payments

Skills/Experience

  • 1 years work experience as a dental receptionist, dental front office representative or similar role
  • At least 2 references
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (e.g., Excel and Word)
  • Experience with Dental insurance .
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines, printers and scanners)
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Customer service attitude
  • High school degree
  • CPR certification (done in-house at our office)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
