What we need from you...
- Preconstruction Knowledge - You possess a comprehensive knowledge of the preconstruction processes, spanning from Conceptual Design to Construction Documents. You will contribute to interviews and presentations with owners and architects as required. You will review milestone budgets with the Director of Estimating and Director of Preconstruction before presenting them to the Owner.
- Detailed Orientated - You will prepare estimates to meet project goals, such as setting work hours, sequencing tasks, obtaining materials, and securing consistent results with vendors and subcontractors. You will thoroughly review all plans, specifications, addenda, and bid packages before bid submission. You will prepare bid-day spreadsheets and perform bid item takeoffs.
This role might be for you if...
- Strong understanding of preconstruction programs / systems (Bluebeam, On Screen Take Off, etc.)
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook and Word
- Technical capabilities in Microsoft Excel
- Collaborate positively with project team
- You have 3-5 years of experience in the construction industry
