Convenience Store (Family Owned & Operated) Currently Seeking Assistant Manager
Summary: Reporting to the General Manager, the Assistant Manager is responsible for ensuring and providing efficient, courteous and accurate service to our customers. They will act as back-up to the General Manager in the event of their absence or at their request, continuing effective management of store operations and employees. Assistnant Manager must have experience working in cashier & kitchen positions.

Daily Duties
Includes, but not limited to:
- Ensure a pleasant shopping experience for all customers.
- Resolve customer concerns, issues, and complaints efficiently and effectively.
- Effectively conduct hands-on training to ensure associate abilities surrounding all areas of operation
- Supervise the day-to-day task assignments and performance for all associates. Assist with all matters relating to the store team - recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Delegate tasks and follow-up as necessary.
- Provide support, assignments, direction, motivation, and coaching for associates.
- Monitor and analyze business processes and results to profitably achieve store goals.
- Manage cash and lottery processes.
- Perform work with Integrity, Honesty, and Respect.
- Working cashier/kitchen as needed
- Working to create a clean shopping environment both inside and out
- Support General Manager in other tasks and assignments on an ongoing basis.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in inventory management and retail sales
- Strong supervisory and team management skills
- Proficiency in POS systems and cash register operations
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Familiarity with purchasing and inventory control processes
- Basic bookkeeping and payroll knowledge
- Ability to negotiate and conduct employee interviews
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
