Primary Care Resource Nurse | Full Time | New Rates!

The Resource Nurse serves as the primary support for clinical staff, acting as the go-to person for guidance and assistance. This role involves facilitating education, implementing new workflows, and ensuring smooth transitions in patient care. • Recognition of serviceSummaryReporting to the Practice Manager, and / or Clinical Leader, and under the direction of the provider, delivers patient care including assessment, treatment, care planning, and medical care evaluation; provides training to clinical staff and is recognized as a resource to clinical and administrative staff.EducationTwo years of formal training or education beyond the high school level (e.g., Associates Degree).Certification, Registration & LicensureLicensure required : Registered Nurse Licensure through the State of New Hampshire Board of Nursing.Certification required : Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification or Red Cross CPR / AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers.ExperienceMinimum of one year as a Registered Nurse in a medical or acute-care setting.Responsibilities
• Coordinates educational and training programs for all clinical staff.
• Develops and implements clinical protocols and work flows.
• Performs both physical and psychosocial assessments.
• Triages patient phone calls.
• Documents into the patient electronic medical record.
• Provides education to patients.
• Administers prescribed medications.
