We are hiring a dynamic Director of Sales & Marketing for our brand new hotel - The Union Flemington, located in Flemington, NJ.
The Union Flemington, a Tribute by Marriott hotel is located in a prime location to the great shopping, dining, attractions in historic Flemington, NJ. Guests will enjoy the premier hotel in Flemington offering a unique, custom travel experience. In addition to a large fitness facility, guest will enjoy dining and drinks at Prime Steakhouse restaurant. The Union Flemington is close to Rte 31 with Diamond Nation and Hunterdon Hospital nearby and just a couple of miles to Flemington Mall and Rte 202.
Responsibilities:
- Provide the highest quality of service to our customers at all times.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing markets.
- Establish and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Understand and keep up to date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge.
- Guide sales and marketing efforts as well as advertising tasks, public relations and administrative reporting.
- Define and implement sales and marketing activities according to the Marketing Plan.
- Prioritize, document, and organize work to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Prior Director of Sales Experience (3 years).
- Prior Hotel opening experience preferred.
- Marriott brand experience preferred.
- Prior experience leading, motivating and managing successful sales teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze financial and competitive data to make informed decisions.
- Prior market knowledge desirable.
