Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare and cook menu items according to Proper Grit's recipes and standards, ensuring accuracy, taste, and presentation.

Station Management: Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies, ingredients, and equipment for service.

Quality Control: Inspect ingredients and dishes to ensure they meet quality standards, promptly addressing any issues.

Collaboration: Work closely with fellow line cooks, prep cooks, and the culinary leadership team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Sanitation & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper food handling and storage.

Time Management: Execute orders efficiently during high-volume service, meeting timing and pacing expectations.

Adaptability: Be flexible to assist in other areas of the kitchen or with special tasks as needed.
Qualifications:

Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume kitchen.

Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety protocols.

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.

Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
